Film & TV Essays
I love movies. I love them as an art form, as an escape, and sometimes as a lifeline.
This Substack is where I write about films, moviegoing experiences, and sometimes even television, that matter to me. Some posts will be personal. Some will be critical. A lot will be somewhere in between.

I’m a screenwriter. I write movies and TV shows that haven’t been made yet. I believe, sometimes stubbornly, that they will be. Until then, I write here.

This isn’t a review site or a ranking project. It’s a place to reflect on the strange comfort of sitting in a dark room watching someone else’s story unfold.

It's Morning Now

Coming Soon!
It's Morning Now follows a young queer woman suffering from panic disorder as she makes superficial connections to avoid real intimacy and, ultimately, her body’s response to sexual pleasure she doesn't believe she deserves.
As her symptoms reach a new height, someone she thought of as a one night stand shows her unexpected compassion - leading to a realization that she doesn’t have to face the panic alone.
